Cara Tremayne

Cara lives right here in the village and supplies the Collective with stunning cut flowers throughout the growing season for you to purchase.

Tantalus Plant Nursery & Flower Farm is based in Kinsale, Co. Cork. We grow most of our stock from seed, divisions and cuttings, all propagated here in Kinsale.  Our online retail store offers herbaceous perennials, biennials, annuals and shrubs for delivery either by courier or in-person pick up by appointment. 

Our location falls within RHS hardiness zone H3/H4, where we ensure that all our plants are hardened off or grown outside prior to being offered for sale. Despite frequent gales and salt spray, all our plants are grown successfully as permanent specimens in our own garden.

We supply cut flowers and foliage to a number of local retail outlets and hospitality clients. Individual customers who wish to purchase a market bouquet are welcome to call us to see what’s available.  We can supply limited amounts of foliage as well. We can also grow to contract for future delivery.
