Beachjuls

Julie Tomlin is a local artist based in Kilbrittain, Co Cork.  She creates “Beachjuls”: beautiful pictures sourced from local raw materials such as beach pebbles and drift wood washed up on the “Wild Atlantic Way”.  Her local favoured beaches are Garrettstown, Garrylucas and Doneen Pier. 

Every ‘Beachjuls’ design is an original, as no two pebbles are the same.  Each unique picture is created using carefully selected beach pebbles, sea glass and drift wood together with a quirky, uplifting personal quote which makes a truly special gift and comes in a white wood frame, also sourced from Clonakility, Cork. Her artwork is available to buy here at West Cork Collective and through her ‘Beachjuls’ Facebook page.

Julie is an active mother of two boys and an avid lover of water and nature.  Julie and her children live near the sea and can often be seen along the local coast with their heads down scouring the beach for interesting pebbles and sea glass.
