Karl Cullen is a self-taught artist originally from Dublin, now residing in the scenic beauty of West Cork. Over the years, his work has evolved into a distinctive style, using oils and pastels to capture the world around him. Despite not having formal training, Karl’s passion for painting and his keen eye for detail have led him to create evocative pieces that speak to the heart.

Karl’s work has been showcased in various prestigious exhibitions, including at the Grey Heron Gallery in Bandon, County Cork, the Golden Pheasant Gallery in Courtmacsherry, and the Asna Gallery in Clonakilty. His unique style and the emotional depth of his work have found a place in private collections across the globe, with his paintings hanging in homes and collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

In addition to gallery exhibitions, Karl’s work is also available at Chalk and Easel in Kinsale, that champions local artists and handmade craftsmanship. Through this collaboration, his paintings and prints reach art lovers seeking unique and meaningful pieces.

Every piece of artwork created by Karl Cullen is personal, as he meticulously frames each painting himself in his studio. His dedication to his craft extends beyond the brushwork; every limited-edition print is produced with the same care and attention to detail that goes into the original pieces. Each print is created using the highest quality printing paper and state-of-the-art printing equipment, ensuring that the artwork is faithfully translated into a fine art print under Karl’s direct supervision. These museum-standard prints guarantee archival quality, preserving the depth, texture, and vibrancy of the original painting to the highest degree.
