This long purple and orange ladies silk scarf is an ideal timeless gift and is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art called Purple Rain.

The shibori technique I use to create the marks gives unique details.

This hand-painted silk scarf in purples, lilac with a hint of orange and pink measures 125 x 36 cms, approx. and has a hand-rolled hem.

I use French professional dyes for my scarves; they are steamed to fix the permanency of the colours and then washed to remove excess.

All my silk scarves are hand-painted with love using various techniques; some are Japanese in origin, like the shibori and arashi shibori, on some, I use salt to manipulate the dyes into unique designs and some are techniques I have developed over the years. They are always evolving, therefore I recommend checking back regularly to see new products. I try to limit my palette to 3 or 4 colours for each scarf. This allows them to be stand-alone statement pieces, and they complement many types of outfits and can dress up or down any ensemble. These are timeless pieces that should grace every wardrobe. Please note, no two scarves are alike, as they are painted freehand and the dyes never move or blend in the same way. This, of course, means your scarf will be unique; no need to worry about turning up to an event with the same item as someone else! You will feel amazing, special and look gorgeous wearing one of my scarves.

As silk is a natural fibre, it is a sustainable and eco friendly accessory, kind to the environment and your skin.

The scarves are hand-washable:

***CARE INSTRUCTIONS***

• Hand wash in lukewarm/cold water with a little mild soap; do not soak the scarf.
• Wring gently, wrapped up in a soft towel.
• Hang out to dry, away from direct sunlight.
• Iron on a low heat setting while the scarf is still damp, under a cotton cloth.

Each scarf is packaged in tissue paper with a printed swing tag, which also includes care instructions.

Free shipping in Ireland with An Post standard post. If you require tracked shipping, please add €10 and let me know at checkout. Orders are usually shipped within 2-3 business days.

***RETURNS***

Please refer to the Irish laws regarding returns. If you are not happy with your purchase, please carefully wrap the item and return it in the original package in its original condition. There must be no smell of perfume or makeup, hairspray etc. You will need to pay the return shipping fees and any related charges.
